EMR integration
Epic AI Scribe
Epic is where your clinic already charts. Scribeberry connects through the Chrome extension on the web version, or the desktop app for dictation into the installed client, so the reviewed note lands in the chart instead of a clipboard. No EMR change, no integration fee.

What the Epic connection actually does
The aim is for the visit to become a chart note without a second typing shift. In Epic, Scribeberry connects through the Chrome extension on the web version, or the desktop app for dictation into the installed client.
Epic runs in large hospitals and health systems in Canada and the US. Most Epic clinics are not free to install marketplace apps on their own, IT governance decides, so the practical Scribeberry path is the workstation workflow.
Scribeberry records or accepts dictation of the encounter (with patient consent), drafts a structured note in your template, and you review and edit it before anything goes into the chart. The clinician signs the note, the AI drafts it.
How it connects
Scribeberry + Epic: connection, reads and writes
| Connection | What Scribeberry reads | What it writes back |
|---|---|---|
| Desktop app on your workstation | Nothing automatically: you bring the encounter context into Scribeberry | Dictated, reviewed text into Epic fields through the desktop app, or extension workflows on web workstations where approved |
Limits that matter
Scribeberry does not claim a native Epic marketplace integration on this page. Berry's chart-reading agent actions currently use the Accuro connection. If your health system is evaluating an enterprise deployment, that is a sales and IT conversation, not an install.

Frequently asked questions
Does Scribeberry work with Epic?
Yes. Scribeberry connects to Epic through desktop app on your workstation. It does not pull chart data on this path, so you bring the encounter context into Scribeberry yourself. It writes dictated, reviewed text into Epic fields through the desktop app, or extension workflows on web workstations where approved. Setup steps are in the tutorial linked on this page.
Is there an extra fee for the Epic connection?
No. EMR connections are included in Scribeberry plans (Pro $99/month per provider). You keep paying your EMR vendor directly.
Does Scribeberry integrate natively with Epic?
Not as a self-serve marketplace install. On Epic workstations, clinicians use the desktop app or approved browser workflow to place reviewed text into the chart. For a governed enterprise integration, talk to sales.
Is my patient data used to train AI models?
No. Scribeberry does not train models on patient data. Canadian customer data is stored in Canada and encrypted in transit and at rest, see the security page for the published compliance documents and Trust Center reports.
