EMR integration

TELUS CHR AI Scribe

TELUS CHR is where your clinic already charts. Scribeberry connects through the Scribeberry Chrome extension running beside the web EMR, so the reviewed note lands in the chart instead of a clipboard. No EMR change, no integration fee.

What the TELUS CHR connection actually does

The aim is for the visit to become a chart note without a second typing shift. In TELUS CHR, Scribeberry connects through the Scribeberry Chrome extension running beside the web EMR.

TELUS CHR (built on Input Health) is a web-based EMR used by Canadian clinics that want charting, messaging and virtual care in one browser workspace.

Scribeberry records or accepts dictation of the encounter (with patient consent), drafts a structured note in your template, and you review and edit it before anything goes into the chart. The clinician signs the note, the AI drafts it.

How it connects

Limits that matter

CHR is web-based, so the extension path applies. What can be pulled and where the note lands depends on your clinic's CHR configuration; confirm the exact fields on a test chart.

Set it up

  1. Start a Scribeberry trial and install the app or extension for your workstation.
  2. Follow the TELUS CHR setup path in the tutorial linked below, then connect a test chart.
  3. Run one sample encounter, review the draft, and check every mapped field before using it with patients.
  4. Confirm patient-consent wording for your province or state before the first recorded visit.

Frequently asked questions

Does Scribeberry work with TELUS CHR?

Yes. Scribeberry connects to TELUS CHR through chrome extension (Smart Pull / Smart Push). It reads patient context from the open CHR chart, where the extension is enabled and writes the reviewed note, pushed into the chart workflow per your clinic setup. Setup steps are in the tutorial linked on this page.

Is there an extra fee for the TELUS CHR connection?

No. EMR connections are included in Scribeberry plans (Pro $99/month per provider). You keep paying your EMR vendor directly.

Is TELUS CHR the same as PS Suite?

No. CHR and PS Suite are separate TELUS Health EMRs. CHR is web-based and uses the Chrome extension; PS Suite launches from its desktop chart with write-back.

Is my patient data used to train AI models?

No. Scribeberry does not train models on patient data. Canadian customer data is stored in Canada and encrypted in transit and at rest, see the security page for the published compliance documents and Trust Center reports.
